OTH Season 8

OMG i know i was saying this morning how much i love it but i've watched it 4 times today :O i must love it huh :)

A-Maze-Ing

Just watched first installment of One Tree Hill Season 8 wow!!!! The opening titles were amazing never expected to feel like that with credits, great to have the song back that started everything and to see the clips of our old cast from way back when it all started in school and to have Jackson in the credits swell as the new characters, Julian, Quinn, clay, Alex, and Millicent it was like the credits was showing how far the show has come this last 8 seasons the way it was done showing Haley, Nathan, Brooke & Mouth from the school years right up to recent times and then adding the new cast in, it was just genius and i never want to forget the way i felt right then. Was also good to have the bridge back in the credits, almost like Lucas was still a part of it in a way.

So glad the Quinn and clay shooting thing wasn't a dream how rubbish would that have been lol but very clever how they made it seem like it was till the end and left it till next week to find out if they find them in time

Great to see Victoria back, wish she was in the opening credits though and good to see Brooke and Julian happy for the beginning part of the episode, sucks Brooke got arrested for her mothers mistakes damn that woman, just when I started to like her too.

Some class 1 liners between Millicent and victoria, don't get me started on Nathan and Haley trying to teach Jamie about where babies come from and him having to look it up on the net and for the first time ever getting grounded soooo funny I love those 3.

Good to see Haley happy again just gotta love her walking in on Brooke and Julian in grease outfits lol Brooke looks fab in glasses I must say

Nice touch with Haley writing to Lucas and I adore the impressions Jamie does of different American states

Damn I wish it was on daily not weekly I'm watching it again tho cos it's that amazing :)

I am happy OTH is back soon but just seen that season 9 will run for 13 episodes and the show will end :(

On one side i know that it has to end because James didn't even really wanna do season 9 never mind beyond that, thankfully Mark got him part time for season 9 so if James isn't on board beyond season 9 what are the odds Sophia and Bethany would be? It survived beyond Lucas and Peyton but could it handle the departure of James, Sophia & Bethany too? I dunno and if it does come down to them all going and they bring in a whole new bunch of kids to take it back to the roots, what are the chances it would work? So many try and fail in that situation. But then what if only James went and Bethany stayed? It means splitting Nathan & Haley up again but obviously for good in that situation.

I'd like it if somehow they could bring in a new cast of kids kind of the same as the core 5 were in high school but anyone who wanted to stay on past series 9 could be incorpriated into it some how but how? Brooke is a fashion designer so what could she do at a high school? I guess a mentor, she came so far from an out of control teenager to where she is now, that could work but wouldn't it be kinda boring? IDK Julian i guess could run media classes but really? A successful director? Bit far fetched and people wouldn't buy it, I would because i love the show and would buy anything they did to keep it going but it isn't about me, it's their ratings in America that get each season commissioned.

The only people who could have really gone back to THHS to teach were Lucas & Haley and they did but it didn't work out, Lucas and Peyton left Tree Hill and Haley was fired from the school and went on to focus on her family and her music and if Bethany did stay people are going to say she already did this, it's all the same stuff and probably wouldn't survive more than one season after that change anyways.
