Let me take you back to August 2008.
My brother had lent me a DVD named "The Perfect Man" I loved the film, I am not the hugest Hillarie Duff fan but her films are good sometimes.
In it Hillarie plays the daughter of a woman who at the first sign of trouble packs up and leaves town, wether a boyfriend has dumped her or if a date went wrong. Hillarie's character blogs about her life as a girl who can never settle at a school, or have friends or boyfriends because no sooner does she get to school she has to leave again.
The film inspired me to write my own blog so on 11th August 2008 I came across Blogger, a free blog host with all the features a girl needs to keep a blog and posted my first ever post on my fresh new blog.
I asked myself would I stick at it? I didn't have the best track record when it came to keeping diaries, or infact, keeping up with anything i started but now as i sit and write this on 8th June 2011 I can happily say the blog is still going and updated as regularly as is humanly possibly, after all I don't want to post every day with nothing to say just for the sake of making a new post.
I've never looked back since that day in August 2008, starting a blog is the best thing i ever did. I enjoy looking back over all my posts, seeing how i felt as a 19 year old kid and comparing it to how i feel now, almost 22.
