Wednesday was slightly bizarre, after everything that had happened in the past year with Emma i was actually travelling up to Yorkshire to stay with her for the night...funnily enough though once i was on the train from Stevenage i was actually looking foward to it which seemed slightly weird to me but there you go lol.
Ok so my train from Stevenage train station to Leeds train station was at 14:54, got to Stevenage about 25 to 3 i think. Was much better having waited up the correct end of the platform lol (as last time when i went up to Toni's we stood the wrong end and had to litrally run up to coach B.)
I spent most of the train ride reading my Michael Jackson book (Michael Jackson: The Magic, the madness, the whole story) i got up to the beginning of the 1993 drama with Jordie and Evan Chandler which i was a bit nervous about reading because the book so far had been so positive and if it was going to go down hill anywhere it was what the author said about Michael and Jordie.
As i said i was quite excited on the train at the prospect of seeing Toni and even Emma, it felt sooo weird to me though i mean i understand Toni but Emma? Bust i really was looking foward to it and i was on the way, all that stood between it was 3 or 4 hours for me and Emma and a whole night for me and Toni.
I stopped reading when we got to Wakefield Westgate station (i recognised the black and yello building there and knew we was close), i swear that was the first time that train stopped, but maybe that was just because i was reading and did not realise but i know that last time we stopped at 5 stations before arriving in Leeds, if i am right and the first time it stopped was in Wakey Westgate there was that stop and then Leeds, surely that can't be right lol!!!
Anyway so yeah i started watching where we was going after we got to Wakey i was about 95% sure that the next one was Leeds and then i saw some odd shaped building which made me about 99% sure that we were approaching Leeds and i was right we was.
I arrived at Leeds about 16:48 (ish) and asked at the iKiosk which train i was to get to Dewsbury station and the lady i spoke to said i was looking for platform 12a so i went off in search of platform 12a, easier said than done though i went completely the wrong way (oops) so had to turn back, but it killed some time.
It seemed like the logest wait ever from when i found the platform to when the train to Manchester Victoria (via Dewsbury) it was only like 20 mins but seemed to take forever.
Finally the train arrived and it was a bit late leaving Leeds but to be fair since i had at least an hours wait in Dewsbury for Emma to finish work i wasn't too bothered. There were some guys on the train who talked for England, and it was quite bizarre listening to men with Yorkshire accents when i am used to Toni and Emma.
I had 4 stops (starting at Leeds then on to Cottingley then to Morley then to Batley then Dewsbury) it seemed the longest time from Morley to Batley and to make matters worse it was raining in Batley and therefor raining in Dewsbury.
I have to say i was relieved to be in Dewsbury, but it sucked i had to wait for so long and the bar that Emma told me to go in was full so i just went for a little walk to try and find McDonalds however that was quite difficult i was sure i had gone down the wrong hill so i just sat in a bar called Jack D's which was quite a nice little pub/bar actually compaired to some of the shit pubs in Harlow.
Before i found Jack D's infact it was before i even went looking for somewhere to sit Toni text me and asked how things were going so i told her i was in Dewsbury and she was pleased i think :)
I had two drinks in Jack D's (pint of Lemonade first then a pint of Coke...i really pushed the boat out with the Coke lol) there was a lady in there trying to sing "Don't stop Believing" however she didn't know the words, yet didn't care...and i honestly could not work out if she was drunk or just mad because people down South just would not do what she was doing sober LOL!!!
Em finally text and said she was on the way...turns out she hadn't recieved my last 2 texts and didn't actually know where i was though so where she was on the way to is beyond me but there you go.
I went outside and got me some money from the bank and Em text me asking where i was (see the confusion?) so i told her i was at Jack D's (again) and she hadn't even heard of it i was like if you don't know where i am how am i meant to lol. So i went round the corner and there right in front of me was McDonalds i couldnt believe it if i had known it was there id of gone there and not the bar but never mind...however i am still not convinced it was the same McDonalds that they told me to find because the way both of them described it was nothing like the actual location i found that McDonalds lol but there you go lol!!
Then Em picked me up and took me to hers she did me soup for dinner and we watched Friends for a little bit before going up stairs and watching Midsummer Murders.
I have to say it was amusing watching Em trying to grab the plug in the bath that she made too hot with a coat hanger lol.
We chilled out chatting after she had a bath and then she went to bed about 9:30 i think and i text Toni for a bit, had a right nice chat with her before falling asleep. Before i went to sleep though i did lay thinking how weird it felt to be getting on ok with Em.
