Ok so i woke up at 2:48am i wasn't impressed and tried everything i could to get back to sleep but OMG was that easier said than done, in the end i actually just gave up and read my Michael Jackson book and understood yet more about Michael and Jordie.
At half 5 Em got up, have to say i was relieved, i'd been up since 10 to 3 and all i had was Em's cat to entertain me lol
We picked T up about 7 i guess by the time Em got petrol and stuff. I (as usual) were quiet in the car (what is that about? i really don't get that) i spoke to them a bit though haha.
The weather was getting worse the closer we got to Alton Towers which wasn't good. Finally about 9:10am we got to the Splash Landings hotel where we were staying, the guy sent us the wrong way to start with but we found it eventually lol.
I was starting to feel a bit nervous when we got on the train/monorail (it was more like a train so from now on that is what i will call it) T did ask but i think i said no cos it wasn't too much i knew i'd felt worse than this before.
Because we were hotel guests we would have got in an hour earlier than the rest of the park visitors but by the time we got in the park it was half 9 so really we only got half hour but that was cool.
First thing they went on was Nemesis....nono for me i am affraid so i stood in the rain lol. Then they went on Air, another ride i try to avoid at all costs so they asked me to take a pic of them on the way up...they seemed to be gone for a while and the people who went on before them their turn actually broke down so they had to wait even longer for them to sort that out then send a test ride up before letting them on.
They did eventually get their turn and i was sure i wouldn't get the picture they asked me to take but suprisingly i did and it was actually really comical.
Ripsaw next, again not my thing but i am totally cool with that so i was taking pics and recording videos on Emma's camera.
Next we did Hex, which isn't really a ride and i never get why people scream on that because it isn't scary lol
Then we headed to Th13teen/Thirteen/13 wowzers this was the last thing i wanted to do having seen the videos on youtube but having not yet been on anything i didn't have that choice and to be fair Toni was right the video didn't look too bad (looking back on it the video looks tamer than it feels but we will get to that)
The thing about 13 is if you have never been on it before its got a secret element in it and its the first ride of it's kind. Having purposley gone on to youtube to find a video of it when Toni told me 2 weeks before she thought i could do it i knew what to expect.
I'm not sure if knowing helped or made waiting worse, i certainly know that i didn't feel half as bad before 13 as i had done before Rita 3 years before so when Toni asked how i was feeling i honestly didn't know how to answer, i wasn't scared like i was with Rita, so saying i was scared would have been a lie, but so would saying i was looking foward to doing this ride.
Ok so let me explain what the ride does. Its alot like corkscrew the beginning part in that it goes up the hill like a normal rollercoaster and drops you down it, then it goes around the track a bit and then takes you inside and drops you twice before sending the coaster backwards.
The girls behind us were annoying, ok there were alot of wasps but do they HAVE to scream like that? just push it away screaming won't do anything except annoy other people.
It was nearing lunchtime and when we got to a food shack place in the queue for some aero bubbles...turns out not the best idea i'd had i felt sooooo sick when the drop inside happened, not sure about before but certainly that part made me feel like i had no stomach left in me at all.
Em told me to close my eyes and that is pretty much what i did the whole time lol and after i was in so much shock it was actually horrible lol.
After 13 we went for something to eat me and Em had a hot dog and Toni had a jacket potato and then after lunch we headed for Congo River Rapids which was cool.
By now we had lovely weather and just chilled out on the grass for the rest of the afternoon and started to get the idea that we should have took a picnic with us lol but there is always next time for that.
We spent about 2 hours chatting on the grass, was actually quite nice to be fair and so much more chilled than the meet me and Toni had with Stacey in May, and so much more chiiled than i ever thought it could be with Em.
After our grassy chat we was gunna head back to nemesis and air so they could do that again but the queues were stupid so we just decided to grab some tea at the BBQ courtyard place (i began to get the idea wearing my smurf top was a bad idea since the woman who served me decided she would like to have a smurf conversation with me lol) to be fair the fries/chips were the best part of that meal but then again it was hot and i'd been up since 10 to 3 so maybe i wasn't really in the mood for it in the first place lol but i tried to eat cos i knew we wouldn't eat nothing again after that unless i got some sweets or something at the hotel.
After dinner we headed back to the hotel and just chilled with eachother, i gave Toni her book and candle which i think she liked lol though the book doesn't really mean very much now but never mind.
Then me and Em went down to the shop, by now my feet were all blistered up and last thing i wanted to do was wear my shoes so i just went down there in my socks which Em thought was weird but it's a hotel i actually believe that is half the fun of a hotel lol!!!
Toni asked us to look for some hard sweets with soft middles...thing is me and Em has no idea what she was on about lol but we did look incase we found something like that lol. When we got to level 3 (reception) i realised i could have just stayed there all night cos it smelt of chlorine which was ace, i love that smell <3
The guy on the counter....remember i said it was a bad idea wearing my smurf top well he prooved it i think...he told me how he got a cookie monster top and everyone laughed at him and said he was too old...lol!!! remind me NEVER to wear that top (at a place where everybody who works there has to be crazy) again LOL!!!!
Ok so i was telling you how well things were going with Emma right? well it was about to get better, we was just talking and some how it came up that in year 7 i went to athletics club and entered the 1500 meters race for a local competition lol which they found hillarious...which it is but i'm also not that convinced that they actually believe me lol. Granted if i didn't know it was true i would actually think it wasn't aswell but still lol.
The 3 of us spent absolutely ages laughing about that and the fact i got a "good effort" certificate for P.E lol i think we all nearly died laughing sooo many times that night it just isn't real lol.
We carried on chatting alot that night but to be honest i don't really remember everything we talked about lol. I did say something in response to something Emma said and it came out as "i i have" which T was taking the piss out of, she is soooo funny when she does that but i don't know why lol
Then we all took turns having a shower, while Em were in there me and T discussed how easy it had been with Emma, i said none of it made sense in my head at all which it still doesn't but it had been really nice and alot easier than it had been with Stacey two months before and this trip clearly proved that i can relax with people other than Toni lol.
I honestly don't remember how it come to talking about it but somehow we got to a place where i made a mistake in saying that i am not bad at rapping, i swear i thought T were gunna die she laughed that much lol and i hate it when people can't stop laughing cos then it starts me off i think we must have been laughing for at least half hour at the same thing PMSL so funny.
Then we watched Big Brother and i ended up falling asleep...more in other posts
